Big Big Sister
Nancy has been promoted to big big sister and is adapting with incredible ease coupled with the odd tantrum about the general inequality of the world. One only hopes that when she learns about the gini coefficient she will show the same level of dedication in demanding a change and subverting modern global capitalism, but his might be her father living vicariously through his daughter. Returning to sororal matters, Nancy is a remarkable big sister and can often be found patronising Tove to sleep with the constant refrain of "IT'S GOING TO BE OKAAAAAAAAAAAY" in a slightly nasal tone that is almost on a par with nails on a blackboard. However, I can't be too much of an arse as I fell asleep when Nancy was holding Tove and she was rather pinned to the sofa and rather than wake her paterfamilias she sat quietly until some one else entered the room and ended her Tove based incarceration. Best parenting from me.
Beyond her promotion, her world expands (beyond parody)- attending gym classes on Saturday morning, piano lessons on Sunday, we've instructed a private tutor to help her master patisserie on Tuesday after school as well as employing a Stoic to improve her rhetorical abilities every other Wednesday. While not quite on a par with J S Mill this all round education is paying dividends already as Nancy is developing quite the understanding of the world:
Reverse it backwards!
- Nancy to Esther on the subject of remote control cars. Tautological joy unbound.
You're quite the blower, aren't you?
- Nancy describing Esther blowing on her food. Yes yes I should be above this.
You cretin, you devil, you butterhound!
- Nancy decrying Esther during a game. My heart soared on hearing this. My work here is done.
Oh my God, that loo's got gravity [graffiti]!
Nancy
