Hello I am nancy this happened yesterday. It was a party. In this picture I am playing a game called Donkey and I am drinking Champagne which is funny because I know it is a grown up's drink. For Christmas I got a ratty and some money and I bought two books with my money but I went to the shops and lost my ratty but today we called them and we found ratty. I had a good Christmas.

I don't like Christmas Pudding or Christmas Cake.

The Vital Statistics

We have a baby. A little tiny baby. In fact she is not just a baby she is a little person, with a spleen and kidneys and many other lovely things like toes and fingers and sneezes and finger nails sharp and true. She is Nancy Eleanor, our little braying peach.

For those who care she was weighed 3.3 kilos and in old money that equates to 7lb 4oz for those of you who think the metric system is the work of the devil. She spent 27 hours thinking about coming out and was born at 17.02 on the 27th June 2011 which is the same day that the world's first Nuclear power station was opened and the revolt on Battleship Potempkin began but clearly these events are now consigned to the very fringes of history given Nancy's arrival.
