April fools

So we enter the final straight. The anti-penultimate blog and every word counts. Maybe. Nancy is rather great. And according a scientist, her pipette ability is akin to an undergraduate, evidenced by the picture below. This shit just got real.

Alongside her pipette skills, she has moved into the deep end swimming lesson which after some initial teeth nashing and general nonsense has gone rather well.

I'm not sure, oddly, I have much to add. She is a rather complex beast, full of joy and fun as well as funk and anguish but she is feels increasingly lovely. She grapples with all things with a zeal that can occasionally be overwhelming but often lovely. Sorry, I've gone all soft headed - but I think that is the inevitable trajectory of fatherhood combined with a lack of sleep and the existential funk of getting a little older. Bugger.

It's been a while since I visited the whole passage of time trope so it feels good to be back here even if I'm an overly sentimental bugger.

Anyway, here she as a scientist, a 1980s pop star and a stereotypical English tourist.
