That is a very Chunky Baby.

Sorry for the delay in posting more pictures, with the impending collapse of society, the test match, work and trying to entertain the little duck time has been short. In a shocking sign of the times, I find myself sat on a Saturday morning at 0921 blogging semi-happily with little Bertie sat in her cocoon rather than sleeping late bathed in the fading aroma of beer and sambuca. How times have changed.

She now weighs 4.5kg (when Maddy first told me, I was a little surprised as we both thought she must weigh at least 12) which is apparently exactly average for a baby of her age which is lovely, but as you can see from some of the photos there are a few anatomical oddities. Take the first picture, I always thought babies came born with fully developed necks, but in this image the neck is not apparent, instead the head is attached to the body by an almighty jowl. Also, I never realised it was possible to have chubby arm pits. But it is possible. And How.

I've also taken some more classy photos (by classy I mean they are in black and white and don't feature Nancy with Trousers on her head) of the gundlehound in all her glory.
